Dancing with the Mother Music weaver ~ Julia

Mother's Day conjures a wide range of feelings--from celebration, love and gratitude to disappointment, anger and sadness. Whether tending our relationships (or lack thereof) with our mothers or experience with motherhood, we invite you to bring it into movement. We'll co-create a space to honor mothers past and present; mother ourselves and one another; to express the body's emotions; and pay respects to the holy earth mother that nourishes us all.

An altar will be set for offerings of flowers and beauty for both the living and the ancestral mothers, grandmothers, gender expansive caregivers, aunts, mother-in-loves and laws and so on. Flowers and images of Mother Deities, mothers, and ancestors welcome for the communal altars.

Opening Circle at 11:30am Dance - 75 minute wave Closing Circle (depending upon size, ends between 1:30-2)

You're welcome to bring: * a lunch or snack to share for the social time afterwards * blankets, camp chairs * water bottle * dress in layers for fluctuating temperature

Children: are welcome; must be accompanied adults; and will need to be able to sit through circles or can enjoy the outdoors for opening and closing circles.
